In the preliminary analysis, Chinese researchers analyzed variations in blood groups of more than 2,000 patients identified as new coronaviruses.
Their results suggest that those with Type A are more likely to develop an infection, while those with more common Type O blood have a slightly lower chance of contracting the disease. They also have more severe symptoms.
The presence of different antigens named A & B in the the RBC and Plasma differs according to the individual blood groups, also they interlinked these findings with corona-virus deaths.
