It is a most expected proposal from PCI to include Clinical Pharmacist Cadre In India, On this context, pharmacy council of India conducted a 107th/Central Council meeting of PCI in august -2019 and few amendments were proposed to include in PPR 2015.
It was decided to propose the following amendments in pharmacy practice regulation 2015.
A) Inclusion of the post of Clinical Pharmacist with qualification, duties and responsibilities.
B) Creation of Drug Information Centers in Hospitals.
Comments on the proposed amendments in the Pharmacy Practice Regulations, 2015 are invited so as to reach the Pharmacy Council of India on or before 13.11.2019.
We request all the Practicing Pharmacists and Pharm.D Graduates to come forward and leave your comments and suggestions to improve and support this process.
